The 15th International Symposium on Heavy Vehicle Transport Technology (HVTT15) was held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, on 2-5 October 2018. Rob Di Cristoforo attended the Symposium to present the findings of his recently published Austroads research on improving local road access for High Productivity Freight Vehicles.
During the Symposium, Rob was re-elected to the Board of the International Forum for Road Transport Technology (IFRTT), the organisation behind the HVTT Symposia. The new Board elected Rob as Vice President Australasia & Pacific, after he had served as Secretary for the past four years.
“It’s an honour to be recognised by such an eminent group, especially because they all share my passion for improving heavy vehicle productivity,” said Rob after the appointment. “In this new role I’ll have the opportunity to keep Australia at the global forefront of high-productivity freight transport,” he added.
